The holidays finally are here. The first night of Hanukkah is on Saturday, and Christmas is Sunday, so many of us will spend the weekend with family and friends. Most seasonal events have wrapped up, too, but a few won’t say farewell until Christmas Eve.

See Scrooge mock and complain about NorthPark Center visitors for the last time on Saturday from 10:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. If you’re unfamiliar with this longtime tradition, the Advocate captured one of his Saturday performances.

Santa’s Toy Shop Puppet Theater also will entertain shopping center patrons from 11 a.m.-3 p.m on Christmas Eve. Watch the beloved toymaker scramble to complete the gifts Santa plans to deliver that very night.

The Salvation Army Red Kettle Campaign and 12 Days of Giving Tree will continue raising funds for its year-round programs throughout the day.

There’s still time to view Addison’s Vitruvian Lights and the Dallas Arboretum’s 12 Days of Christmas at Night. Learn more about these events here.
