If you’re headed toward Northwest Highway on the Dallas North Tollway, you may want to be extra cautious.

The highest number of car crashes occur between the highway and Berkshire Lane, making the area the most dangerous in our neighborhood.

When the Preston Center Advisory Task Force released its final plan, it included data about auto crashes, as well as bike and pedestrian crashes, from 2009-2013. Residential streets have a low crash density, according to the data, and car accidents most frequently happen on the tollway, Northwest Highway and Preston Road.

Most pedestrian accidents occurred in southwest Preston Hollow. There were 12 pedestrian crashes in four years, and one-third of them took place on Luther Lane.
