Public education is often divisive, and improving its quality is an issue
lawmakers and advocates continue to debate throughout the city and country.

Next Tuesday, Mayor Mike Rawlings and several local leaders will review Dallas’ public education system, tackling topics ranging from data-driven decision-making to the future of the city’s students.

The panel discussion is slated from 6:30-8 p.m. at the George W. Bush Presidential Center. It’s free to attend, and registration opens at 5:30 p.m. the same day.
