Sick of Valentine’s-themed activities? Meet the SMU professor who wrote the novel “Heels Over Head” instead.

If you can’t wait for love to dissipate from the air and you’d prefer to forget the impending holiday, there are other options to keep yourself preoccupied until Valentine’s Day is over.

If you’re not much of a concertgoer and don’t enjoy museums, you also have the option to discuss revenge and murder this Saturday. Author Clay G. Small is leading a discussion at 2 p.m. about his suspense novel “Heels Over Head.”

Small is an SMU business professor who previously was the senior vice president and managing attorney for PepsiCo.
