A fast-casual version of a popular Cedar Springs eatery has plans to dish up comfort food in our neighborhood.

Street’s Fine Chicken is slated to open its second location this summer at Inwood Road and Forest Lane. Known for its southern comfort food with a French twist, the restaurant first introduced itself to Dallas in 2016.

The masterminds behind the establishment are members of the Street family, whose resumes include the shuttered Black Eyed Pea, Liberty Burger, Y.O. Ranch Steakhouse and the Good Eats restaurant chain.

“The Dallas market has really embraced the fast-casual model, and we think it’s here to stay,” said owner Marco Street in a news release. “We’ve had success with Liberty Burger at Forest Lane and Inwood, and we’re eager to launch our first fast-casual chicken spot next door.”
