Three things to do this weekend: Book signing, back-to-school celebration or watercolor workshop

Walt Gragg’s “The Red Line” envisions the outbreak of World War III, as Russia and the United States clash in Germany. Gragg, a U.S. Army veteran, is signing copies of the novel Saturday, Aug. 19, at Interabang Books. Arrive at the bookstore by 2 p.m.

Get the kiddos ready to return to school Saturday at NorthPark Center. The ABC’s of Back-to-School Style is slated from 10:30 a.m.-2 p.m. Appearances by the Dallas Police Department, bilingual story time and singing puppets are all part of the fun. Learn more here.
