Former President and Preston Hollow resident George W. Bush welcomed his first grandson last Friday. Henry Harold Hager, or Hal, for short, is Jenna’s third child with husband Henry Hager — along with Mila, 6, and Poppy, 3. Jenna told her co-anchors on the Today show that her daughters are thrilled by the new addition to the family, saying that they are “crazy about him” and “just so thrilled that they have a little baby brother all of their own.”

Bush Hager said during her call-in to the Today show on Monday that she’s feeling “good” and “happy” following Hal’s arrival via cesarean section.

In an exclusive interview with PEOPLE last May, Jenna reported that her father George W. Bush, 73, and mother Laura Bush were “over the moon” to be expecting a grandson. Although, Jenna joked on the Today show that he was “mad” his first grandson wasn’t named after him.
