Many who make their homes in our neighborhood could easily go north, buy a big house in Frisco and never worry about shifting foundations, old plumbing or potholes in the street.

But we don’t.

Why? Often, we offer the same answers: the history, the beauty, the distinctiveness, the character, the community.

Throughout the year, our magazines string together those oft-repeated reasons into stories that say something about our community, about what breathes life into it, what makes it unique, what makes it tick.

This month, we decided to let pictures do the job.

Over these next few pages, you’ll find the work of photographers sent out into our neighborhood with one purpose: to find images that say something about what it means to live in Preston Hollow.
