Looking for somewhere you can take good ol’ dad for Fathers Day this Sunday? (yes, that’s your official reminder, in case you forgot. And random FYI: Saturday is Flag Day).
Several neighborhood restaurants are offering Sunday specials for the holiday–there’s far too many to list, so here are just a couple of my top recommendations:
If your dad likes traditional brunch (think omelets and eggs benedict) Popolo’s will be serving brunch from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Penne Pomodoro at Preston and Forest will also have brunch that morning with $1 Mimosas, Bloody Marys, and Bellinis–as well as some more inventive dishes, like scrambled eggs with crab and Percorino cheese. And Mercury Grill is hosting an all-you-can-eat brunch buffet that’ll be $50 for adults, and $25 for kids.
I hope those ideas are helpful–but sorry, you’re on your own when it comes to picking the perfect Fathers Day gift.
