Say goodbye to four of the Minyard-related stores in this area. As promised yesterday, here’s an update on the Minyard sale:

• The Carnival on Lindsley has been sold to the company that owns Fiesta, which will likely keep it. Also sold were the Carnival at Abrams and Skillman, a Carnival on Buckner in Pleasant Grove, and a Carnival at Garland and Jupiter. No official word yet on whether the new owners will keep those stores or sell them.

• The new Minyard, which shed itself of the Hispanic-themed Carnival, will operate 21 stores under the Minyard banner. There will still be two Minyards in Casa View. The rest of the stores are a hodgepodge of suburban and Tarrant County locations.

• The original Minyard was a 540-foot store at 6011 Lindsley. The Lindsley Carnival that has been sold, which was converted from a Minyard a couple of years ago, is at 6015 Lindsley. So, for all practical purposes, that is the chain’s first store.
