There was a time you couldn’t go shopping at 3 a.m. in your pajamas, but that was before the Internet. Now a click of the mouse, and you can have that flat screen or new shoes any time you like.
The North Dallas Neighborhood Alliance has joined the ranks of ebay and amazon, letting you do your donating a la virtual, too.  If you’d like to give to their food drive this holiday season, there’s no need to stand in grocery lines and then make the trek down to the food bank–that was so last decade. Instead you can just go online and fill your virtual shopping cart with cans of cans of tuna and boxes of macaroni-and-cheese. Now that’s philanthropy in the 21st Century.
