Apparently there’s been an email circulating that claims there’s a new carjacking scheme happening at NorthPark. The email claims that a piece of paper is taped on the victim’s rear windshield, so when the driver gets out to remove it, the car thief moves in.
Well, according to the DMN crime blog, that email may be a hoax. According to mall security records and police reports, no such incidents have occurred.
