A neighborhood man was shot earlier this week during a robbery.
According to an email I got from the Estates West crime watch, a man was held up a gunpoint Monday night outside his home in the 10800 block of Camellia Drive (near Preston and Royal). The man was getting ready to pull into his back driveway when the robber approached him with a gun. There was a struggle, and the man was shot once in the ribs.
That man is now recovering in the hospital, and there isn’t any suspect information available right now. Alert your neighbors and keep an eye out.
