If you’re looking for a few ways to relax without having to come out of pocket, here are a few ways you can enjoy your Saturday without spending a penny:

Saturday morning from 9 to 10:30 you can enjoy free Tai Chi at the Crow Collection of Asian Art. Instructor Eng Khoo will walk you through the ancient Chinese exercise, which aims to improve energy flow and coordination. All levels are welcome, and there’s no need to make a reservation.

Or, if you’d rather consume calories rather than burn them, you can score some free munchies over at Flavors from Afar from 1 to 3 p.m. East Texas cookbook author Pamela Kelley will be there with fire-roasted shrimp cocktail and deviled eggs with artichokes (both samples from her newest book).

Still hungry? Head over to Cork–they’re hosting a free cheese tasting from 2 to 5 p.m. featuring some of the selections from their new menu. If you want some wine, however, you will have to pony up some cash…..unless, of course, you go to Goodies from Goodman. They host free wine tastings every Saturday from 2 to 5 p.m. And this Saturday, they’ll be offering free snacks with the featured wine, Louis Jadot’s Beaujolais.
