It looks like one of the last pieces of the long-running Preston Hollow Elementary segregation case has finally been settled.

A federal judge dismissed the whistleblower claims from former teacher Graciela McKay, who said she was fired for questioning the segregation policies of former principal Teresa Parker, according to The Dallas Morning News.

The judge said McKay did not prove the school board knew of her actions and retaliated by not renewing her teaching contract.

The case originally listed a slew of PHES parents who were involved in the school’s PTA, in addition to DISD, the school board and Parker. The parents were later dropped from the case.
