This month our neighborhood has seen a significant spike in home burglaries along Webb Chapel, between Walnut Hill and Northwest Highway. One victim told NBC 5 the robber took mostly “small stuff.” I did a quick record search and this month, there have been 10 home burglaries in that neighborhood—and most neighbors reported things like DVDs, iPods and gaming systems stolen. Officers have upped patrol with marked and unmarked units, and they believe they’ve arrested the robber responsible for up to five of those break-ins.
