I’m a lover of all foods, but Vietnamese food holds a special place in my heart. I eat pho a few times a month, maybe more during the winter. That’s why I was so happy to learn that the Snappy Salads in our neighborhood is now serving it. If you’re not familiar with pho, it’s rice noodles, thinly sliced onions and beef, all in a clear ginger-flavored broth. You then doctor it with fresh bean sprouts, sliced jalapeno, hot sauce and lime to your liking. Not only is it good, it’s good for you. But just an FYI, if you want to try a bowl of pho, you can only get it at the Snappy Salads off Preston and Forest—the one at NorthPark is not serving it.
