If you’ve got some clutter you want to dump in the name of spring cleaning, consider donating those items to our neighborhood Boy Scout Troop 835. The kids are collecting things to sell at a garage sale this week to raise money for a trip to the 2010 National Boy Scout Jamboree.

If you’d like to drop off some donated items, just swing by Schreiber Memorial United Methodist ChurchThursday night from 6-8. And if you have a heavy piece of furniture you need help moving, just email Corey Brunson.

And if you’re in the market for a good bargain (and who isn’t these days), swing by the church Friday and Saturday for the massive multi-family garage sale. There will also be a good selection of spring flowering plants, ferns, and many slightly used hot-pink tents. Yes, hot pink tents—perfect for that upcoming Girl Scouts camping trip, perhaps?
