The Franklin Middle School Student Council led its school to raise $2,770 to support the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society in the Olive Garden restaurant’s “Pasta for Pennies” fundraiser.
Teams of classrooms and grade levels collected small amounts of change, and the winning classroom, Ms. Maglaras’ sixth grade homeroom, collected the most and won a pasta lunch party from the Olive Garden.
I hope they got breadsticks in that deal. I love Olive Garden breadsticks.
Other top-performing teams earned free dress days and the class with the best decorated money container won $15 towards their class total.
