Dianne A. Curry was elected to the board of directors of the State Fair of Texas. She will serve on the 55-member board of State Fair of Texas, Inc., the private, non-profit corporation responsible for presenting the annual exposition. Curry is owner of Foot Solutions, a retail store at Preston Royal Shopping Center.
Preston Hollow neighbor Jerry Hoag has been named the new associate dean of the Executive Education program at the University of Texas at Dallas. Hoag previously served as the executive director of the UTD Leadership Center. In his new role, Hoag will provide strategic direction to the Executive Education program, which includes a top-ranked EMBA program and four additional graduate degree-granting programs that enroll nearly 400 students.
