Preston Hollow resident and restaurant giant Norman Brinker passed away Tuesday.
It was only a few weeks ago that Brinker was honored for his charitable causes with the Methodist Health System Foundation’s Robert S. Folsom Leadership Award, an event that raised more than $1 million to benefit Methodist’s emergency and trauma services.
Brinker, of course, got his start with a diner-style restaurant in East Dallas, long before Chili’s and Steak & Ale.
