I recently stopped into WaWa Asian Fusion off Forest (which used to be Sushi Minami) and discovered that not a whole lot has changed. The decor is virtually the same, as is the menu. They still offer some great lunch specials, most of which are less than $10. And they offer miso soup and your choice of sushi roll for just $5 all week.

I went with the sushi combo bento box. The sushi menu here is limited and the quality is average, but for about $8, I feel like I got my money’s worth. Everything was tasty, and there was plenty of it. There are also some Korean dishes, like the beef bulgogi (marinated barbecued beef over rice),  which is also pretty decent. There are also a few Chinese and Thai dishes on the menu.

WaWa is a good spot to keep on your lunchtime radar if you’ve got a hankering for Asian food and you don’t want to break the bank.
