Geometry in high school was a nightmare, but as an art form, it could prove otherwise. Last Friday, the Museum of Geometric and MADI Art unveiled "Geometry in Dallas," featuring works by 10 local artists. While each of the works are characterized by a geometric sensibility, rhythm is also a unifying theme. The exhibit includes works by artists Rich Morgan, Michael Tichansky and Lane Banks, among others. Banks, who teaches a course in contemporary art at Southern Methodist University, will host an Arcadia Salon discussion on June 18 at 5:30 p.m. The exhibit will be displayed until September 6.
