I’ve already brought you a Friday Productivity Killer that touched on the craziest baby names out there—but this week’s spotlight is on the wacky world of pet names.

VPI Pet Insurance has complied the 50 most unusual dog names, and the 50 most unusual cat names. Doogie Schnauzer MD tops the dog list, and Snag L. Tooth tops the cat list.

The owners of each of these pets also talk about the logic (or lack thereof) behind why they picked these names. Love them or loathe them, you’ve got to give these pet owners points for originality.
