A new player is about to enter the Preston Hollow deli arena. Zinsky’s Deli at the Preston Royal Shopping Center is supposed to open this Friday morning at 9 — although the person I spoke to on the phone today when I called to confirm that was careful to say that’s when they were “hoping” to open.
I’ll be calling back again Thursday to get a status update so I’ll keep you posted, but regardless of when they finally do open, one thing is for sure: They’ll certainly be facing some stiff competition with Cindi’s and Roasters’n Toasters so close. May the best bagel win.
