Eric Ezar has been named the new athletic director and head football coach of W.T. White High School. Ezar is a 1990 W. T. White honors graduate, former quarterback and finalist for the prestigious “Longhorn of the Year” award. Ezar played quarterback at Tarleton State University, from which he also graduated with honors. He has coached at several large high schools in North Texas, and comes to White most recently from North Crowley High School.

Nathan Adams Principal Jean McGill has been chosen to attend The Principals’ Center at the Harvard Graduate School of Education through Raise Your Hand for Texas. McGill is one of only two principals in Dallas selected from a pool of more than 350 candidates across the state. She is a 35-year veteran of Dallas ISD, and has spent most of her career at Nathan Adams, where she initially taught first grade and has served as principal the last eight years. Under her leadership, Nathan Adams achieved an “exemplary” rating this year from the Texas Education Agency.
