If you have some clutter you need to clear way, this Saturday the city will be hosting its annual recycling roundup at the Dallas International School in our neighborhood. You can bring sorts of hard-to-recycle items, like televisions, furniture, and appliances. And if you’ve done some remodeling, they’ll also accept building materials like doors, gutters, and Sheetrock.

This will be the last Saturday you can take advantage of the free yoga lessons over at NorthPark. That class starts at 9:30 in the morning in the garden.

Saturday night you can catch a live performance by Sparkman neighbor Ben Higginbotham over at Neuhaus Café. He just started his freshman year, but he’s a pro when it comes to tickling the ivories. You can watch him from 6:30 to 9:30 Saturday night.

And over at Theatre Three you can catch the opening of “Six Dance Lessons in Six Weeks,” a play about a widow who uses dancing to help her cope with her grief. You can buy those tickets online.
