Blue Mesa stays in my regular brunch rotation, but last night I stopped in for dinner and noticed a new line of ‘spa’ dishes. These entrees, noted with a blue icon, are heart healthy and low-calorie. The nutritional breakdown, in fact, is printed on the menu.

I went with the ‘spa’ chicken and spinach enchiladas with grilled sweet potatoes and asparagus, which was all just an impressive 350 calories. There was more food there than I could finish, and it was actually very good. As good as the Adobe Pie? Well, no. But it was enjoyable and plenty nonetheless.

Another perk for dropping in for dinner: every Thursday they have live music, which made for nice ambiance. Plus, there’s $4 drink specials all night.
