Nathan Adams Neighbors, a group of parents aiming to glean more support for the Exemplary-ranked elementary school, will be hosting an information session this week. Neighborhood parents on the fence about public school are invited to stop by Nathan Adams Wednesday from 5 to 7 p.m.

This will be a time for parents to meet other parents who have kids at that school, and they’ll get a chance to chat with Nathan Adams teachers and principal Jean McGill, as well as Walker Middle School teachers and principal Brian Lusk. Parents will also be able to tour the school, where they can check out things like the new computer labs and music room, where the elementary orchestra practices. Everyone’s welcome to come and go as they please, and Open Door Catering is providing the food.

If you can’t make it to the open house, but still want more information about the school, send an email to parent Lisa Bell.
