The talented kids at W.T. White will be putting on their musical revue, “On the Radio” this Thursday, Friday and Saturday night at 7. Admission for all those shows is $7.50.

This original production is the result of months of hard work by more than 250 students under the guidance of choral director Michael Parker, who has kept the program going strong for 11 years. The choir works under a tight budget, and in a practice space that was intended to be a custodial closet. Yet despite limited resources, these kids make magic on the stage year after year.

The staring lineup this year includes Deidre Thornell, who I blogged about back in October when she won a state singing competition. If you’re free, come show her and all the other rising stars in our neighborhood some support — you’ll be impressed.
