We’ve already had 12 days at 32 degrees or lower in December, which is two more days than normal and two days more than than we had in December 2008. The average temperatures for the month are well below average — at 43 degrees for the average temperature, 53 degrees for the average high, and 34 degrees for the average low, we’re 10 degrees below the average, about 3 1/2 below the high, and 3 lower than the low.

Not too worry, though. The record low for the month of December was -1 in 1989. So far, that record seems safe — even though the forecast for Tuesday calls for more cold and snow.
