If you’ve been driving north on Greenville toward Park Lane for the past couple of years, it seems, the Whole Foods Market being built on the west side of the street in Park Lane Place is expected to open in March, according to a DMN blog item. Kim Pierce also asks an interesting question: Will the new store take more business from Central Market at Lovers, or will it instead cannibalize the WFs in Lakewood and at Preston-Forest? Clearly, the Park Lane store will be bigger than either of the others mentioned here — it dominates the horizon as you look toward the NorthPark side of the street. But the location is surrounded by multifamily units and office buildings as opposed to single-family, so the crowd may be different from what you find in the other two.
