The four semifinalists in this year’s DISD mock trial tournament were announced Tuesday night, after four rounds of trials that began on Saturday: Hillcrest, Skyline, Booker T. Washington and Woodrow Wilson. The semifinal rounds are scheduled Thursday at 6 p.m. at the Frank Crowley Courthouse on Industr…whoops, Riverfront Boulevard. The winning teams Thursday will square off Tuesday for the DISD championship. Both finalists are guaranteed a spot in the March state tournament. Last year, Hillcrest advanced to the state tournament for the first time in recent memory, finishing among the top four teams, and Skyline won the state tournament and finished among the top 20 teams at the national tournament.
