Friday night you can ring in the Year of the Tiger with a Chinese street parade down on Flora at 8. There will be a giant glow-in-the-dark dragon, kung fu demos, Chinese fortune telling, live music, face painting, and beer tasting—all for free (yes, even the beer is free.)

Freebirds World Burrito will host a Super Monster Burrito Eating Contest Saturday, Feb. 20, at all three Dallas locations beginning at noon. A $12 entry fee gets you in the race to polish off the Super Monster Burrito first for a photo on the Freebirds wall, a Fanatic card with a preloaded free burrito, a Freebirds T-shirt, and, of course, bragging rights.

Saturday night you can catch the Ronald McDonald House of Dallas Moonlight Ball, which is co-chaired by Preston Hollow neighbors Caroline Nix and Caroline Gehan. That’ll kickoff at 7 p.m. inside the Brookhollow Golf Club with dinner, dancing, and music courtesy of Emerald City.
