E.D. Walker eighth-grader Gustavo Ramos was one of 30 students selected as a Mavs Academic All-Star by the Dallas Mavericks and Flowserve. Ramos — who was selected from more than 400 outstanding students in the Dallas-Fort Worth area — won a trip to the Dallas World Aquarium with one of the Mavs, a goodie bag full of Mavs gear, and two tickets to a game, where he was recognized during halftime.
