DISD is about to launch a pilot program that will allow parents to track their child’s academic progress online. Starting next month, the program will be tested at Annie Webb Blanton Elementary School, Ewell D. Walker Middle School, and Franklin D. Roosevelt High School.

By logging on to a portal, parents will be able to see progress reports, attendance, homework, and class schedules. These three schools were selected based on size, geographic representation, level of parent involvement, ability to provide parents with access to the portal at the campus, and having an active community/parent liaison.
