E.D. Walker Middle School eighth-grader Chiemeka Njoku has been selected as a winner in the 2009-2010 Bobby Bragan Youth Foundation Scholarship competition.
Njoku was chosen as one of 36 winners in the competition from among 184 finalists. She will receive a $2,500 scholarship upon completion of high school and enrollment in college. Chiemeka will be honored at the annual Bobby Bragan Youth Foundation Scholarship Celebration Sunday, April 18, at Texas Wesleyan University.
