After filing a Chapter 11 bankruptcy last month, Swoozies is going out of business. The paper goods and stationary retailer will close all of its 43 shops across the country within the next few months. The location in our neighborhood at Preston Center will be closing in about 10 weeks.
If you’ve never been, this shop carries all sorts of gift items, like tote bags, painted wine glasses, picture frames, jewelry and candles. Right now, everything is the store is being liquidated, with most items discounted 30 percent.
