The Jewish Community Center is hosting Israel Independence Day celebrations Tuesday from 4:30 to 8 p.m. More than 35 neighborhood groups are gathering for the free event, which includes kosher food, Israeli dancing, face painting, carnival games, bounce house, film screenings, and several exhibitions.
