This month, buy something …

… at The Family Place Resale Shop, 11722 Marsh. This volunteer-run shop offers discounts on clothes, furniture and household items. All sales proceeds benefit The Family Place, a nonprofit that helps victims of family violence. And if you’re doing some spring cleaning and have some items you’d like to give, shop volunteers will pick up your donations. Just call shop manager Carla Ochs at 214.358.0381 to schedule a pick up. Right now there is high demand for full and queen-sized sets of bed sheets. For more information, visit
