North Haven Gardens is hosting Ikebana Creations with Herbs at 10:30 a.m. Saturday, presented by Nan Mitchell, a certified Ikebana instructor with more than 40 years of experience. She’ll share her tips and philosophy, using herbs in Japanese flower arrangements. The event is sponsored by the North Texas Herb Society.
Catch the final weekend for the exhibit, “Exquisite Creatures 2: The Mermaid & Octopus,” at Norwood Flynn Gallery near Bachman Lake. Scores of artists showcase work inspired by the enchanting sea creatures. The show ends Saturday.
And that Guys and Dolls concert we told you was happening last weekend, well, it has been rescheduled for 6:30 p.m. this Saturday in Glen Cove Park on Forest between Midway and Marsh. It’s organized by the Glen Meadow Estates HOA.
