People have been lining up to see this internet cult classic at premieres in LA and New York, sporting coat hangers around their necks. Yeah, coat hangers. You know, to fight off the birds when they attack.

“Birdemic: Shock and Terror” will make its Dallas premiere at 11:59 p.m. June 4 and 5 at the Inwood Theatre. The low-budget (and I mean low-budget) film garnered a following online and is among the new wave of B movies to start catching on with moviegoers and critics alike.

Obviously inspired by Hitchcock’s “The Birds,” the “Birdemic” hits when a platoon of vultures attack a small town, and the only two people left must fight to survive.

Yep, I can’t wait.
