I had the pleasure of attending last weekend’s midnight screening of “Birdemic: Shock and Terror” at the Inwood Theatre. And I thought filmmaking couldn’t get any worse than that.

But on Friday night, the theater’s highlighting yet another cinematic disaster in the “Best Worst Movie,” a documentary about what went into producing the 1980s B horror flick, “Troll 2.” The story follows a bunch of vegetarian goblins as they conspire to transform one boy’s family into edible plants. And somewhere along the line, there’s a corn-on-the-cob sex scene and pudgy-potato-sack clad midgets. Yeah, enough said.

The documentary shows at 7:30 and 9:45 p.m. followed by a Q&A with one of the actors, George Hardy, and then a midnight showing of the entire film in all its glory. There’s also a midnight screening Saturday night.

If it’s anything like the Birdemic premiere-which involved a gamer where audience members showed off their more terrifying bird noises-this should be fun. But if you’re a stiff about noisy theaters, don’t bother. Everyone talks and laughs through the whole thing, which is kind of the point.
