You’ve probably seen it on the window — that baby blue and brown sign synonymous with delectable desserts. You know it’s coming, but I called up Crème de la Cookie owner Toni Rivard to find out when: tentatively June 26, pending health permits and such.

The bakery, which sells cupcakes, brownies, chocolates and other treats, has enjoyed much success at its Snider Plaza location where some customers come by every day. Setting up shop in the Preston Royal Village just down the way from the popular Purple Cow, Rivard says that can only help business.

“I went in there and saw a million kids,” she says. “Those are our customers.”

Stay tuned for details about the grand opening, which will include some special deals.
