Sushi Star, a local Preston Hollow favorite on Royal Lane, gets a glowing review in yesterday’s Walk the Wok blog. The article calls the restaurant an anomaly. It is a neighborhood restaurant with ambitious fare and a notable clientele. There is a hearty sampling of Korean dishes on the menu, and, when discussing the restaurant’s ability to be both a sushi restaurant and authentically Korean, owner Song Wii replied,  "Well, Korea is a peninsula, after all…It’s not as if we are foreign to the concept of raw fish."

The review comes as no surprise to the people of Preston Hollow. The family restaurant, with a very relaxing atmosphere, is highly ranked and was suggested to me by a faithful customer. My favorites? The affordably priced Bulgogi bento box and the Sushi Star Martini.
