Children from all over the Metroplex got to be in the circus for a day through the Dallas nonprofit, Lone Star Circus School. All day Tuesday at American Airlines Center, they got to work with Ringling Bros. professionals and learn all about what goes into each performance — the silk, the rings, the wardrobe and just clowning around.

I caught up with some neighborhood kids from Preston Hollow and Far North Dallas and captured this Advocate Video of their experience. They were participating in the event through the after-school program offered by Dallas International School.
