Volunteers are needed to help with prep work for a huge project going on at Marsh Middle School this weekend. About 100 Fidelity investment employees and people from the Volunteer Center of North Texas are teaming up to beautify the school 8 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday.
The project is a big one. It includes creating a College and Career Investigation Center with books and a boardroom setting for students to host events like Student Council meetings; planting a garden in the courtyard; outdoor classrooms and solar lighting; and a general renovation of the main entrance.
They need help 9 a.m.-noon Friday to prepare for the project and make sure everything goes smoothly. All you have to do is show up. I can’t wait to see the end product.
