As you all know, Monday restarts the ritual of waking up early, packing lunches, signing all those first-day-school registration packets, and the list goes on. Here’s a roundup of what’s going on at some of our neighborhood schools to help you prepare for the new school year.
Kramer Elementary
- Meet-the-Teacher ice cream social: 4-6 tonight; you buy school supplies there if you haven’t already, enjoy some cold treats and get to know the teachers.
- Parents Work Day: 9 a.m.-noon Saturday; another way to socialize and help teachers get their classrooms ready for the first day of school. Plus, there’s drinks and snacks.
