The Mercury executive chef Chris Ward will host a fundraiser Aug. 29 at the restaurant for the Greyhound Adoption League of Texas. The event includes a cooking demonstration, silent auction and food and drinks. Tickets are $55 each.
The Meadows Museum will host Creative Musings, an art and wine activity, featuring “Sorolla: A Matter of Light”. You can study the style of Spanish artist Joaquín Sorolla y Bastida and create your own work of art. It’s at 6 tonight, and admission is $15.
