Hillcrest High School’s literary-art magazine “Calliope” won its highest award ever in this year’s American Scholastic Press Association, scoring 985 out of 1,000 points.
The magazine, advised by Laurie Phillips and other Hillcrest English teachers, invites students to submit works of poetry, prose, art and photography, compiling it all into a magazine each year.
